Manna Bread

<---------- Not to be confused with these studs.

So what is this Manna Bread I mentioned in the last entry? Only the greatest stuff on earth! Seriously! I grew up on Manna Bread and I have never gotten tired of it. You would think it's so good, it must be unhealthy - - WRONG! It's delicious and nutritious and also very good for regularity.

The history of Manna Bread goes back to the times of the Old Testament when Moses lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Then Nature's Path (a health food company) took the bread, packaged it and sold it for our pleasure. You can purchase Manna at Whole Foods. You'll find it in the freezer section and you must keep it frozen. Upon purchasing, I leave the bread out for a bit to soften. Then I will slice the entire loaf before putting it in the freezer. It can be very hard to slice when solid frozen.

Toast it in a toaster oven or broiler because it may fall apart in a regular toaster. It's fragile stuff. Manna comes in a variety of flavors, all of them amazing. Carrot Raisin is one of my favorites, along with Millet Rice.

Nature's Path is a wonderful company. They really try to provide healthy food and really emphasize the importance of being eco-friendly and sustainable.

Check out their Sustainability Statement:
